Florida Homeowners Insurance

I often get questions about the high cost of Florida Homeowners Insurance.  Aparently the news media lumps the entire state of Florida into one statistic.  Definitely, if you live in South Florida or the West Coast of Florida with it's history of nasty hurricanes, you've got some worries.  Personally, I haven't found insurance in the Palm Coast area to be too bad.  Obviously, that's my opinion.
