So frustrating! Sure, this property was a steal (you can still find photos under the featured listings tab on my website) but the listing agent hadn't even gotten a key in the lockbox before this property went pending! Listed on Thursday, I had a contract ready to submit Friday afternoon only to discover it was too late! 
Arrgh! I'm not a very good loser when it comes to deals like this. Bottom line, when you see a great deal, JUMP ON IT! Considering that all foreclosure contracts are written "AS-IS" and offer an opportunity to cancel the contract and get your escrow money back should the home inspection show it not be in good condition, the risk is really rather minimal and potential reward is huge.
